Microsoft Claims Success for Internet Explorer 9
Internet Explorer 9 is released recently by Microsoft and quite succeed because this explorer is already installed in 3,6% computer which runs Windows 7. Quote from V3 in last Saturday (2/4/2011) that the number is judged as a special success by Microsoft since the number is exceeding than previous Explorer 8 performance in Windows 7.
“Only two weeks the IE9 is released, positive reaction seen in global area,” claimed Ryan Gavin as Director Senior of Internet Explorer Business and Marketing.
Gavin is very optimist for IE9 will keep earning supports since the data from Net Application in manamarket share IE9 of Windows 7 shows 3,6% in the end of March. This is five times higher than IE8 in its launched in a month.
However, this number is still low if it’s seen from whole of browser’s market in all operation system because in March IE only get 55,9%. It’s falling 0,85% from last month.
Meanwhile, the rival has their rising trend, such as Google Chrome about 11,6% globally (it’s their high rank), Firefox about 21,8%, and the next is Safari which reaches 6,6%.
